Nazareth Village

Perhaps the most educational visit that we've made so far is a trip to "Nazareth Village." It is a small reconstruction of what a Galilean Jewish village might have looked like in the 1st Century A.D. It was incredible to think that Jesus might have grown up in such an environment.

One reconstruction among the many houses was a synagogue. This was a place for public meetings, childhood education, and particularly Sabbath meetings. I've included a picture below.
